PACKAGE TOUR TO VIETNAM
        Vietnam Central Highlights
  6 Days / 5 Nights Package

Danang – Hoian – My Son – Hue

Description: The central part of Vietnam is famous for its density of World Heritages. This short trip takes you to three recognized sites in the area: Vietnam’s last feudal capital of Hue, ancient town of Hoian, and the Cham ruins of My Son. Still, you will have leisure time to enjoy yourselves in the mid of the visits.

DAY 01
Arrival Danang – Hoian. (B)

On arrival in Danang, you are greeted and driven to Hoian, which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures.

Overnight in Hoian

DAY 02

Hoian. (B)

The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, Pottery Museum, 200 years old Tan Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda and vibrant market. Today we include these on a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past. A perfect way to relax is to view sunset on Thu Bon River to visit the spectacular countryside and explore a handicraft ceramic village and boat building yards.

Overnight in Hoian

DAY 03

Hoian – My Son – Hoian. (B)

A half day to visit World Heritage My Son Sanctuary which is about 45 km away from Hoian. My Son was holly land of Cham culture and Champa Kingdom from 2th to 17th century. Remains are the remarkable brick towers, the origins and purpose of which are to be explained by our guide.

Overnight in Hoian

DAY 04
Hoian – Danang – Hue. (B)

Today, we leave Hoian and drive north to Hue. On the way to Hue, we stop at the Marble Mountains, the China Beach and the Cham Museum in Danang city. We then follow the road crossing over the scenic Hai Van Pass to Hue – Vietnam's last imperial capital. This small and quiet city is widely known for its magnificent architectures, pagodas and royal tombs laid in many small villages and surrounding hills. We spend this afternoon visiting Hue with the massive citadel, containing the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City. This Royal Residence was destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive; however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. After that we enjoy a walk to the Dong Ba Market that sells a wide variety of local goods and handicrafts.

Overnight in Hue

DAY 05

Hue. (B)

A fully exploration of Hue starting with a boat cruise upstream on the Perfume River which will give us a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit to the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. Upon leaving this symbol of Hue we continue navigating to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. The next stop of our trip is the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the famous pagoda of Tu Hieu. On returning to the city, we pass many fantastic eating spots where visitors may enjoy samples of local delicacies.
